What’s new with AutoRABIT Vault – March 2021 Release (21.1)

Just released is our March 2021 version of AutoRABIT Vault. With this 2021  release, we’ve given the product a new look and feel, added backup and archive storage options, given you more capabilities to control cloud storage vendor retention policies and new capabilities for restore or replicating non-required parents.

With an updated look and feel
If you’ve been using AutoRABIT Vault for a while, you’ll immediately notice an updated “look and feel” to the application. But don’t worry –you’ll still find the features and functionality you are used to in the same organization structure – just with updated logos, colors, fonts, and even an updated login screen.

Vault with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) storage:
We’ve added to our local, AWS, and Azure options for backup storage the capability to use GCP – using either an AutoRABIT hosted storage or your organization’s GCP environment

Retention policy enhancements for Azure:
Added to our existing capability to configure an Azure Blob Retention Policy when you perform a backup is a new feature that enables organizations to define retention policies for existing backups or archives.

Restore/Replicate parents with relationship lookups:

We’ve now added the capability to restore or replicate any non-required parents. To do this, select them from the schema before running a restore/replicate job.
